Film Talk · Oscar Nomination Challenge

Let the Oscar nomination challenge commence

Ok, so the Oscars aren’t the be all and end all of the film world. Film is after all, incredibly subjective, so whether something got a nomination or not doesn’t change how you feel about it.

That said, I have always fancied tackling all films up for something though. It seems like a good way to see some things I’ve been meaning to see, things I hadn’t necessarily considered and some I haven’t heard of. I hadn’t set myself any challenges as per say for 2017 yet so I’ll keep this loose and with no exact time frame on it. I’m probably going to review them one category at a time to try and keep them cohesive. Oh, and in some kind of order because otherwise I feel like 60-odd posts would be ridiculous.

Anyway, here’s the full list of categories and nominations. I haven’t quite decided what I’ll be tackling first as I have to work out cinema logistics for a couple of the films. I plan to add links to each of the categories here once I’ve written them up.
